Im looking for a good laptop that can play the newer games for a good price($1500-2000).Also I need to know if the newer laptops allow you to upgrade the video.

I'd wait until Dell has another one of their sales (like a 20% off coupon with a couple rebates). No, you can't upgrade the video in any laptop. The most you can upgrade inside the laptop without voiding your warranty is the memory. If you take it apart (and void the warranty) you can swap the harddrive. Just remember, if you get the regular P4 or AMD laptop, it will run REALLY hot and have crappy battery life. Go with a P4M.

Get one with a proper video accelerator with its own ram. don't bother with the shared stuff for games.

Gop with dell 8200 or cheaper alienware.

yeah I would definately go with the P4M, and nowadays the radeon 7500 graphics chip is pretty common. If im not mistaken I believe you can get the radeon 9000 in a few laptops and the mobile GF4 Ti4200 should be out soon.
