there are some pretty sweet games on the list, but none of them touch Battlezone.

Hes got a point there. Battlezone 2 is still one of the best looking games around. The graphics are just sooo smooth. Not to mention the sweet gameplay.

Well for me and I am playing it again for the third time it has to be Half Life.

Even by todays standards it really is a brilliant game.

Mind you I do not like all the shooters, especially the ones like Serious Sam, which are utter rubbish.

Yes Half Life takes it for me.

Serious Sam was just billions of things running at you and you have to kill them all. the AI was sooooooooo bad!!! They just run in your general direction. And thats all they did.

I suppose I have to be careful what I say, sorry for those fans of SS.

Your right the monsters just ran at you in ever increasing numbers, just to be blown away, ok if you have had a bad day at work I guess!

Lovely, I think the AI in Serious Sam was bad by design, not by lack of design.

Playing the game on the "Serious" difficulty setting (what other setting is there?), there's no way even the best of us could survive much more than a minute if the AI was anything other than atrocious. It's pretty obvious that the designers had the goal of maximizing action, which they acheived by throwing creatures at you in rediculous numbers. Creature intelligence must be sacrificied in such a design in order to make it possible to win.

I know, but t[censored]s are my complaints and resons why I didn't get serious sam 2. After playing the first one and hating it......... There was way too many monsters, no plot, no anything actually, just good graphics and tons and tons of monsters with crap AI....... not very exciting (for me anyway)......

my friend can't play any shooters

he gets headaches, because everything moves so fast

My pick would have to be Dragon Warrior for the original NES. Breath of Fire for SNES was good also.

How about the worst games:

7th Guest, Earth Siege, Messenger, those all sucked.

They must have, because the only one of those three that I have heard of it Earth Seige.
