The rumors have been flying around so much lately that it’s easy to forget that nothing is set in stone yet--the iPhone 5 September event is unconfirmed, and it’s not yet entirely clear if Apple is actually making a smaller version of the iPad--but there sure are lots of sources telling news outlets lots of similar things.

According to AllThingsD, several sources have indicated that the iPad mini will indeed be announced this fall, and it will be at its own event in October. Previous reports indicated that the iPhone 5 (plus any other fun new products or upgrades Apple has cooked up) and the iPad mini would both see the light of day for the time at an event on September 12th.

iPhones and iPad

Really, having two events a month apart is smart; that allows Apple to fan the flames of love for two highly- anticipated product launches at different times yet holding consumer attention for weeks and weeks. This way, the iPhone won’t steal the spotlight from the iPad mini, and vice versa.

Of course, none of this has been confirmed by Apple, which is also part of the Cupertino PR machine strategy.

I am excited that the rumors seem to be pointing for an October release of the Ipad mini, I am more excited for the iphone 5. I believe that it will be a bigger success than the ipad mini, but i will be well into the fall semester when i decide whether or not to purchase the new mini for Christmas. It takes some time to check out the specs and play with it enough to decide if its right for me.

So much for innovation here. "Oh we should launch a ground breaking and game changing product .... lets creat a one of a kind product any ideas guys? I know, lets shrink the ipad and call it the ipad mini. Brilliant" what a bunch of tards

Why would you settle for the mini? Why not just go all out for the iPad?

Are you just commenting for the Gaming PC Giveaway ? How is it good ? Apple is just a popularizer of products, not an innovator, except for ipod wheel maybe.. They are not bad in innovation but not like how the media hypes it

@AKnudson the problem with most stylish women is that they are just like Apple products, good to look at but useless for everything else. They don't play nice with others and generally lighten your wallet really fast. If that is the kind of woman you like then good luck in life my friend.

Sorry to all the stylish women who are nothing like what I said above ;)
