Well im thinking about about sellin my system to get some money together to build a new one. Theres absolutely nothing wrong with the system I am currently running, I just have this habbit of getting tired of the same 'ole thing. Its not that i want to build something better just something different. Anyway heres what is in my case:

Athlon XP 2000+
Abit KR7A 133R with Raid
512MB PC2100 DDR
40GB Maxtor 7200rpm ata133
Visiontek GF4 Ti4200
Sound Blaster Audigy MP3
Intel 10/100 nic
24x samsung CDRW
bay freeze intake drive
350 watt power supply
Dont know the name of the case but its pretty nice
Logitech keyboard and optical mouse

I think that about covers it. What do you think would be a fair price to ask for a machine like this?

wow, dude!
Why would you want to sell this? Are you a 3D graphics designer or something?

I would say around $500. I think the best way is to part it out but keep like the case and start from there. I am willing to buy a couple of things.

Yeah you guys are right. I didnt see the mouse or keyboard and I didnt look at the graphics card. If it was me I would sell it for around $750 but if I was buying I would spend like $500. Who wants to sell me a case??

Thanks for the input. Right now the new system Im looking at is gonna be about 750. BUT.... for that price i would have to keep my current GF4 and sell my radeon 7000 with my system. So that would drop the sell value of my current system by about 150. Of course the other option would be to try and sell this one for around 800 (I would include some software) and then put out an additional 200 for a better video card. Im considering a Leadtek ti4400, the one with all the cool heatsinks on it. Not much of a boost in performance but with the new system it would be plenty.

Consider a Radeon 9700 Pro

Get Hercules R9700Pro

You should get $700 - $800 for current system.

Your probably better off just upgrading though -? ?

You should just sell the parts off that want to upgrade. I would keep the GF4 for now and just upgrade the processor and mobo, maybe the case with some fans. Everything else is still good parts. Maybe sell the Audigy and upgrade to a Terratec, but other than that I would keep as is. But if you wanna sell some parts seperately, I'd be happy to take your 40gb maxtor off ya, lol
