Apple is telling their employees to do nothing about the APPLE DEFENDER scareware:

Ha! my Girl Friend got it last night on her mac. I had to use my PC to look up how to remove it. O the Irony...lol

A sledgehammer ha!! If you google how to remove it there are instructions floating around. I wonder if this is just the start of things, maybe the creators will start to target apple with their crap.

Step one Kill the process in the task manager, then once its ended. you can just go applications and put the program in the trash (ie uninstall it, for you non mac people). then you have to go to mac preferences and to user accounts and tell mac OS not to run the program on start up. It was fairly simple.

the best part was when she told me she just used her antivirus to remove some viruses from her mac. I just blankly starred at her and said " you just installed a virus..."
