"This action has imperiled EZ Texting's relationship with all its consumers, whose identities I cannot reveal for fear that EZ Texting's competitors, who are not having messages to and from their short codes unlawfully blocked by T-Mobile, soliciting these customers."
“This case is yet another example of a totally arbitrary decision by a carrier to block text message calls between consumers and organizations they want to communicate with. The FCC should put a fast end to this blocking by issuing the ruling we asked them for three years ago. EZ Texting and other companies should be able to focus on growing their business rather than filing lawsuits to prevent blocking.”
Actually I think they should block all of them. I hate getting what basically amounts to spam sms's on my phone.
:), i never actually receive any of these spams... But i can see on their business side it needs to be unblocked. But for consumers getting spam then its just bad.
If they're unsolicited SPAM messages (in any form) then I hope that the company sending them dies quickly. If it's a service that consumers HAVE to sign up for and allow, then they should be allowed to communicate with their client base.
Who made T-Mobile the keeper of our moral compass anyway?
Well said , Neil.
Actually there is way too much text message spam and scams on T-Mobile's network. I get about 20 fake texts a week from banks asking me to call a # and confirm my info. Wish they would stop those.
