That's pretty impressive.
I hope things like this will be available for other platforms as well.
It's cool, will it work on a mac desktop?
Not bad for OpenGL ES 2.0
Makes you wonder if Apple will get off their rears and add OpenGL 4.1 support on the desktop, since it would be fully compatible and allow for the apps to be ported back and forth transparently.
Downloading and seeing how it goes now! i was going to download it at the beach today but... i needed wifi :(
What kind of game will it be when done? so far they have only roaming around (ya i know its a demo [:)]), i like the way they made the controls, you can use joysticks or taping the screen 🙂.
I just installed this on my iPad and it's pretty freakin awesome. I'll have to demo it for youz tomorrow on the HH webcast! :)
Action RPG, according to Epic Games.
SO if they can actually work like two virtual thumb pads...Thats pretty sweet!
What happens if you facepalm the screen:P
Pretty cool looking; brings to mind what iD Software (from their onset equally focused on Mac gaming) can do on this platform. If I get an iPod/Pad/Phone (that "if" is looking more and more like a "when"), this is definitely something I'll look forward to.
Any word on whether or not the accelerometer will be used as an input device? Like touching the screen to walk and attack, and tilting it to look around?
Coolio! Can't wait to see that Dave.
I'm not that familiar with the PowerVR SGX chipset, and wouldn't mind hearing your thoughts on that too. I guess I'll get familiar with it soon, if my Pandora ever arrives (since it uses the same).
