MAC loves my university (mcmaster) ...

I think the 1199 13" is a good deal, with 10hr of battery life and a 2.4Ghz Core 2. Not to shabby, I dont think i would drop 1799 on the 15. even though it has an i5, you could just get a samsung laptop with an i5 for 799 and put ubuntu or some other lunix build to get the better battery life, at half the cost...
