I recently upgraded to a Q9550, updated the bios and all is well but I have no option to overclock. Can someone help me out here is there a 3rd party tool I can use to tweak the FSB, multiplier, voltage, ect ?
Thanks again
Which version of the bios do you have?
(You need the beta 1238 version of the bios if you need a 1333MHz FSB)
In the Advanced Tab in the Jumperfree config menu, do you have AI Tuning set to manual? You need to have it on Manual to get the options for CPU configuration to show up.
I am using Bios version 1238 which last time I checked was the latest version. It is a beta version though, would have any affect on my lack of being able to overclock?
Thank you soo much SOUPSTYLE bro that was it I has to go to the Advanced Tab and do just what you said after that it worked fine. I now have it set to 400 fsb with 1.2v and whatever the lowest NB voltage is and its running fine. I am on water though.
