Word has it they are having trouble with Fermi. Looks like it will not appear in any quantities until winter 2010. I think Nvidia is imploding.

If true that would be a huge blow to Nvidia.

I think dave smells a scoop and wants some exclusive first reporting action!

Ahh.. with all due respect to our friend Charlie, we don't deal in speculation and rumors here very often and frankly we have a number of leading indicators that say this article is definitely not following the track of its namesake, "semiaccurate".  I'll leave it at that but we shall see.

If it's true it's a little upsetting. I just hope they take their time and develop their new card the right way.

Have to agree with that assessment.

However, here is another article that indicates trouble for Nvidia:

Nvidia GeForce GTX 480 and GTX 470 Video Card Yields Are Poor

But then there's this as well:

GTX 460 & GTX 480 set to appear in March, available in May

we had plenty of articles on the iPad before its announcement ... :P

that being said, the 1st link gibber gave was just a synopsis and quote of dave's link.

I guess we will know the truth when we see a product for real. I am sure Dave won't keep us waiting when he gets some real news on it. As well as some product in hand to test out.

Despite whatever the real deal on the performance is, was there any solid info released on whether they will have hdmi (native) and display port with Nvidia's own version of Eyefinity support? I thought I read somewhere that there won't be, but I don't recall.

Nvidia does have a version of the Eyefinity. HotHardware did a piece about it a month ago here.
