Normally, I'm not a huge fan of AMD....but if it's free, there is no point complaining on a computer that is worth $4,000. You can tell that this is a big prize when they start adding cases like Lian Li in it.

Very nice setup and give away. Any idea if that TWKR is C2 or C3 stepping? The original TWKR chips were darn nice cherry picked chips that could haul butt under sub zero cooling and didnt do that bad under water considering it is a high leakage chip that loves volts and can take it.

Guess i will have to show my face around here more. *looks over at his aging rig*

Wow sweet system with a Twkr, 5970, a beautiful Lian Li custom case, liquid cooled and on and on and on. I was suprised as it has not been very long since the last contest!

Oh Drago I don't think the c2 or c3 stepping on this really fits as TWKR chips are hand picked chips with generally well above normal abilities. I would imagine they are c3 just by the time line, and because I would imagine all the original tweakers from the c2 steppers are long gone.

Either way who would not wanna win this it's beautiful!!!!!

What an awesome rig. The estimated $4000 price seems low with such a rare CPU!

Another HOT giveaway. And something to divert attention from the nauseating amopunt of CES coverage after 2 weeks of news silence in the tech industry. <vbg>

Man...that would be nice. Three kids 6 and under doesn't leave much room in the budget for a new rig. I call my current system "Frankie". It is a rag-tag combination of hand-me-down parts and e-bay finds.

It's on again at HotHardware!

It's another great prize for the masses to strive for.

Good luck to all of you and don't give up, this is do-able, I know.
