Yeah, I hate people who............(sorry, someone was beeping at me go)...text while driving.
While driving the other day, I noticed the guy ahead of me drive out of his lane.... three times.... onto the shoulder.
The last dozen times I've seen this behavior, it's been someone texting or yelling into their cellphone. So, I started up a bet with my wife - who thought the person might be falling asleep.
I gunned past them, and we were both surprised to see the driver waving their arms frantically - as if wildly conducting an orchestra to whatever music was within their car.
I couldn't tell if they were drunk, or they had just placed the woodwinds too far to their right.
I saw this too a while ago. Was on my way home from work and saw someone swerving around, braking erratically, etc. I figured it would be better to be in front of them than behind them so I passed, and as I did I looked over... the guy was flailing his arms wildly, punching the steering wheel and dashboard, appeared to be shaking his head all over the place and yelling a lot too. I have no idea what he was doing, no music was audible though we both had our windows up.
Accident scenes are
displayed everyday in TV news and blogs and most of them are caused by
texting while driving. It is dangerous to be distracted while driving. I use
http://www.drivesafe.ly/ to send out text messages and
stay focused on driving.
