UPDATE: I found an unopened NetGear PCI Adapter (FA311/FA312/FA331) in a pile of stuff. I plugged it in and now that wont install. There seems to be no Network Adaptors under device manager. I am supposed to install from the NetGear disk from the Network Adaptors but it does not exist. There does not appear to be an automatic install.

Hi. I recently reformatted an older machine that we need to use downstairs for simply online stuff, word, etc. Everything went well except I can not get it online. There is a messages that says the TCP/IP protocol cannot be found. I go to the Biostar site and only find drivers for flashing the motherboard. Download.com gives me so many options that I don't know which one to pick. I installed a couple but none of them work. Under Ethernet Drivers there is a TCP/IP line under properties but still no connection. I really dont know what to do.
