I have 2 computers and I forget which mobo is better. I want to run

Vista Business 64bit. I currently have the Abit running with an E6750

and I bought a Q6600 for the Asus. Now the person whom the Q6600 was

for does not want it so I can mix and match.

Which would be the fastest setup? I am going to make a Linux server out of the other one.

Also, I have 2 WD 74Gb Raptors which I might run in RAID1.  Would the speed be much better than running 2 WD 500YS's in RAID1?

Is Vista going to have a problem seeing a new MOBO, CPU, Graphics Card and HD? I'm guessing so...  What do you think.  Is there a way around it?  Could I re-install with a new MOBO and new HD, then later upgrade the CPU and then the Graphics card?

I used a Q6600 with an Abit IP35 Pro for a year then switched to a Asus P5Q3 Deluxe, not only is the asus faster and I got a maximum overclock  but its also cooler.

What about EVGA?  The 750i FTW and 780i boards are pretty solid.
