Though typically we would offer that we can neither confirm nor deny that these are in fact pictures of Albatron's upcoming GeForce 9800 GX2, it's just a little obvious on the box branding what we're looking at here. Sorry, there no specs or performance numbers that we can share with you yet but since these shots are public information now and there are more than a few over at the show s[censored]ing their pilsner over various AIB partner offerings, we thought you should get an early look at these here at HH as well.
Interesting ^_^. I hope a dual PCB approach won't impact performance. We all know the 3870x2 is a great card...Drivers now-a-days for multi gpu solutions keep getting better and better...But the 7950GX2 which was also a dual pcb solution was very mediocre...Mostly due to drivers obviously, but hopefully this will be a performer.
Nice looking. If they really are two 8800GTS 512's, then I wonder what the price for these will be. $549-$599 my guess. Considering SLI'ed 8800GTs beat a 3870X2, these should be by far the fasted "single slot" card out there. As long as the drivers can keep up, which I have faith they will.
this is a dual PCB , single slot card . then how will it accomodate aftermarket coolers ? meaning will it be possible to cool both PCB's ?
good looking card
