I was originally looking at the 8600GT series, and everyone told me to really consider the GTS series. I got some extra money and I think I can come up with another $150 so I am looking at $300 8800 GTS cards, which should be twice as fast as 8600GT and handle any game that I am playing.  I found these 2 8800GTS 320 cards for $300: BFG Tech GeForce 8800GTS 320MB 320-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Itm=N82E16814143091

XFX GeForce 8800 GTS Video Card - Fatal1ty Edition 320MB DDR3, PCI Express - , FREE Lost Planet: Extreme Condition PC Game,

Does this difference really mean anything? Will there be a difference in FPS?

What is the difference between GDDR memory and DDR memory? Is one better then the other

Is there any other differences between these 2 cards that would indicate which is better to buy? (Uh – besides that fact that the XFX one comes with a free game)
