the thing is i have this HD (40 gb) where i keep all my info (from movies to work stuff)...and about 2 weeks ago when i tried to enter the folder where i keep my pictures i got this error "cannot acces -location- acces denied" (actually is in spanish..."no se puede tener acceso a -locacion- acceso denegado") at first i thought it was a hard drive problem so i cheked it with norton disk doctor (a systemworks utility) but nothing wrong was detected, what else could be wrong? and how can i fix it?

(a week before it hapened i installed windows again, clean install, but in another hard drive, also i have fedora installed on the same hd as windows but in another partition)

Can you do the following for me.

open My Computer, right click on the HDD in question, select properties, go to tools and run the error checking for me. Report back if you get errors.
