so is that YOUR auction (in the ebay link provided) or just letting us know that its a good deal?

What I am asking is basically, do YOU have the cpu there at ur house with you waiting to be sold?

I dont think he has Ice.

It sounds like he found it on ebay and thought it was a good price.

He just posted here to let us know incase any of us wanted to bid on the item.

First of all, the appropriate place for this would probably be in the lounge/off-topic....as you are not selling the item yourself (which is what the F/S and trade section is for) and online auctioning sites do not really quality under hot deals @ HH (which is set aside for well-established retail sites usually). I personally do not care, but I am just saying for the future...

Second, the fx-55 isn't really that powerful of a CPU anymore -- especially for the price. For a significant amount less $$ you can get yourself a Core 2 Duo setup (intel) that will pwn virtually ANY amd setup one could think of. I am not a fanboy of AMD or Intel...I just look for the most performance and right now C2D has it Just in case ur looking for a upgrade in the near future
