Hi,

This is my ASRock Motherboard that shows what RAM it can use.

And Canada Computers is going to be my provider.

I'm looking for something which is not expensive, yet reliable.. and preferably 1GB ram, but then if its too expensive I can take 512. (I currently have 512)

If I could get someone to be nice enough to give it a look and suggest what I can really get, that would be very nice. I know I'm asking to be spoon-fed, but then, I don't know industry ratings for all those products. I'm sorry.

Thanks in advance. 🙂

well from looking at eh site i would say you have very few choices since you can only run pc2700.

this is what i found:
Corsair Server Memory PC2700 DDR333 512MB ECC Registered 184-pin DIMM (CM72SD512RLP-2700) ($118.00)
Kingston ValueRAM PC2700 DDR333 1GB ECC Registered 184-pin DIMM ($239.00)
these look like your only options.

Humm i dont know much anbout PC2700, but i think the Kingston might be the best.

PC2700 = DDR333 and the board states DDR333.

Tbh I would just go for some DDR400 memory as it can be cheaper than DDR333, and tbh won't really harm performance in any way.

What about the no name ones? Are they even good?
And are you sure about the DDR400s? :S

Yes they will just drop down to DDR333 speeds, Corsair Value would do if you don't plan to Overclock.

Why are you suggesting ECC Registered memory? Standard memory will work just fine...and be a LOT cheaper!

And why are you limited to only that store?

why and i suggesting eec ram? becasue its the only ram the store has at pc2700, but since its much cheeper to run ddr400 in it then theres no need to go with pc2700
