I have just ordered this HERE

I'm going to use it for the moment as USB 2.0 with the SATA option for future upgradability later.

My question is: Can I put in an IDE drive for now, or do I have to put in a SATA drive (even though I'm only using the USB 2.0 part now)

I'd imagine that since it says it supports SATA and not IDE that you cannot use an IDE drive in there...I don't know of any workaround either...sry
