First I'll post my system specs:

Operating System: Microsoft Windows ME
Processor: Intel Pentium 4 @ 1.64GHz
Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce2 Ultra 64mb
Total Physical Memory: 640MB PC800
Free Physical Memory: 463.38MB
HardDrive: ATA100 40g 7200rpm

3dMark2001 Benchmark score: 3980.

I have the latest drivers (det XP) for my gf2, but other than that I havent done anything as far as drivers. I have ran into a couple viruses, but quickly quarintined them with Norton Antivirus.

If you have any ideas as far as improving my score, please post. From looking at others comp specs and scores i should be around 7000-8000, but im half of that. Please help me :[

Thanks,

All Geforce2 are poor in 3d Mark 2001, as the don't have Pure Hardware T&L & vertex/pixel shader support, which give GF3/Radeon 8500 owners more points.

I can find several things thats keeping you score down. SDRam DDR gives like an extra 500+pts your Athlon has only 200Mhz FSB although your Radeon is better at 3D mark 2001 then an Geforce2, also try agressive setting to boost your score

You see I fear tweaking cause if I make an error, my father will kick my a$$ ... Last mont I made an error with my vid card and drivers ... we coudn't see anything on the screen. We had to go at the computer store were I build my PC. It cost me 50$CAN. So can you give me the exact good settings ???

this link might work? http://gamershq.madonion.com/pr...e_from=&score_to=&email=

The P4 seems to be a poor perfomer in 3D Mark 2001 it's about the same speed as a AthlonXP 1.33Ghz, in fact the XP is faster
