Is there a way to unlock a higher multiplier on a winchester 3000+? i heard you could do it with some older models but i dont know if you can do it with the newer models.

never heard of being able to do that. where did you read about it?

i heard about it on some website where you took to pins, electrified them and then put the 2 pins on some spt on the cpu and then it unlocked a higher multiplier.

and no i didnt get my 3000+ yet. the person i bought it from had finals in college so he couldnt ship it out. i should be getting it either tomorrow or on tuesday the latest.

I would have thought a lower multi and higher HTT the best way to go

it definatley is but that means you have to upgrade your ram if you want to oc the hell out of it. i have to get another set of ram because my kingston value ram i think is not going to withstand much moreof my ocing. im selling it for 90 usd shipped if anyone cares.
