I just thought i would ask you guys your expert opinions on this system, i reckon its all AOK, anyone seen any noticable error before i get the urge to BUY BUY BUY.......

I am happy with everything except for maybe the GFX card, i might go for the 6600GT SLI NV instead of the X700 ATI.........not sure yet cos why would yer have SLI board but an ATI card, thats mi main problem but that X700 was highly recommended.

Thanks guys, i would much appreciate your thoughts. Can you see anywhere i can save money?

If you're a gamer then yes the graphics card will be the biggest let down. While Antec PSUs are great you might be able to save money going for a Thermaltake, Fortron etc. Why are you getting an SLI board? Save money and get a non-SLI PCI-E board and a 6600GT.

Ive had a slight rethink, i still want to go for the ASUS A8N because its a decent price and i suppose its fairly future proof (if a pc can at all be future proof!!).

Im still going for the AMD 64 3200+, it seems a decent spec for a decent price.

Ive also ditched the DVD-ROM, I see no need in having more than one dvd drive, only for copying cd-roms without swapping discs.

I have also got the 6600GT nvidia card, its not SLI but their too expensive anyway and i doubt i will use SLI anyway.

Below is a picture of everything i am planning on buying, i have ditched the TFT, im gunna get a CRT from elsewhere. Anyone see any last minute problems before i go BUY BUY crazy and order this comp.

Cheers guys.

Nope, looks good

You could save on the PSU though. 480W is more than double what you'll actually use and you can get similar quality to Antec without paying through the nose.
