does anyone know of a proggy that can change (force) refresh rates on my desktop? i have a Radeon 64MB VIVO and a 17" Sony Trinitron Multiscan 200sf.

i used to use PowerStrip, but without being registered, that window on startup gets very annoying. the countdown before the button to close the window becomes available is also rising. it hit 25seconds. so i uninstalled it.

any other proggies out there? the only good refresh rate i can get is at 1024x768 (85Hz). i think it's because i updated the Radeon drivers, but i like the new ones, so i'd rather just force the refresh then reload the old drivers. i'm at 1280x1024 right now and it's hurtin' my eyes with 70Hz!!! with the old drivers i was able to run 1280x1024 at 85Hz. please help!!!

well, i figured it all out. if i wanna run 1280x1024, it can only run at 70Hz max with my 17" monitor.
so i just backed it down to the next highest res....1152x864 @ 85Hz. that's good for now i suppose.

anyone wanna gimme a 24" monitor? ooooh, how
