I have a problem with a Medion MD9435 Whell (with force feedback)
Since I changed my motherboard (a few months ago) the whell won't work anymore. I get the message in the attachement.
So,
I called the company where I got it from and they said that the wheel only works only on USB 1.1 (my old motherboard had 1.1), and not on 2.0. This seems very odd to me since USB 2.0 has 1.1 support integrated (yes, i've activated it from the BIOS).
My question is: Is what they say true? Is this possible?
If so, than what can I do to make it work?

When you got your new mobo, did you reinstall windows? You almost always have to to avoid errors and lock ups.

Yep, I reinstalled win (win xp sp2)(after a format). I tried without the service pack but it didn't work this way either.

Do the manufacturers have any software or driver updates available? If they will not cooperate with you then you might try looking at www.driverguide.com . Maybe someone there will have your drivers.

They have some drivers but they don't work anymore (on the old mobo they worked)
I looked at driverguide.com for newer drivers but I didn't find anything

Can't anyone help me?

I think ti's best to ask the manufacturer of the wheel to help. It might be a known issue with a known fix.
