Another question..

After going into sleep mode, the monitor remains in sleep after moving the mouse or typing on the keyboard, and my only option is to reboot the machine.. its extremely annoying to say the least.

My video card drivers are updated.

I plan to turn off sleep/hibernate in power options, but I'd like to know the cause of this problem anyway..

Anyone have any ideas?

Thank you.

Your tower's hardware teams pretty standard. I'd put my money on the LCD panel being the cause.

Do you by any chance have a usb kb and mouse? If so then there may be some options in your BIOS, and or a windows update may fix your problem.
