hi, i have just set up a pc with gigabyte ga-7n400 pro2 mobo and an athalon 2800 + cpu

unfortunately it appears that the cpu is only running at 1.15 ghz, also i have noticed that the
fsb is running at 200 mhz but the option to change it to 400 or 333 mhz isnt there.

i have tried playing with the jumpers on the mobo but dont really know what im doing, can anyone give me some help ?

thanks

try pressing ctrl+F1 to unlock bios options, the gigabyte 7vt600 I used had a small switch on it that changed the fsb options

On many motherboards, there is a jumper on the motherboard(Probably the one pointed out by StukaSt1) that allows you to select 100/133/166 and even 200MHz FSB speeds. Since you have a 2800+, you should try to find the jumper option that gives 166MHz FSB(333MHz memory speed). All the different options should be found in your mobo manual.
