FX have higher cache? But they usually perform better, and I think they are also unlocked, for easy overclocking potential.

I remember reading a lot about the early fx's being unlocked but I haven't seen a lot of noise from the OCers about it since then...you'd figure they'd trumped the first unlocked cpu in a long, long time.

i read somwhere that amd was leaving their "top end" processors unlocked. im guess top end being the fx seris.

but i guess if you drtop 700 on a processor then you aught to be able to OC the hell out of it.

heck if I got a 700 USD cpu, I'd never let it off of stock speed for fear of it dying lol.
