Logitech is the worlds best wireless mouse and keyboard company and many gaming magizines have recommended the MX900 mouse as the choice for games. But my question is of technology. What benifits has bluetooth mouses over regular wireless? do they have higher refresh rates? are they actually better? I need to know to get the MX900 or the regular wireless MX700. Both are neck in neck in preformance but what technology is better for gaming? Is it worth the bluetooth UPgrade??

Bluetooth is in no way necessary for gamers...it's for office kinda things for people who use bluetooth devices such as PDAs, cell phones, etc to connect to their computer.

For gaming the MX700 will do you very well.

Actually bluetooth will work quite well for this and has found a lot of favor with remote "appliances". It has a very limited range and is fairly robust against interferance within its scope of use.

I like the fact that the MX900 also serves as a bluetooth hub. . .since almost everyhting will be bluetooth in the future (getting rid of many cords) but i think all those things might degrade performance...
