Hey guys,

I downloaded 3dmark2003 today... when i clicked run, my monitor goes black, it changes resolutions (you see the front light light turn off and then on), but then stays black!

if i run demo mode, i start to hear sound after a while, but no picture. When i click on show results after i abort, it says N/A for all except the first test, and it says 89 FPS on that one...

I have a radeon 9600xt, with DX 9.0b, and windows xp home with service pack 1...

someone please help!!

ANDY

p.s. Games and other benchmarks (like AquaMark 3) still run.

What resolutions are you telling 3dMark to do?

Have you uses a refresh rate fix that may have set your max refresh rate for the resolution you're running above what your monitor can run?

hey guys...

thnx a lot for the replies, and sorry about the post - a good restart fixed my problem...

heh now i have a new one... My computer scored only 3401!

what is this? is the 9600xt really this crappy?

i think it must be the other cheaper parts in my system, like my RAM and CPU.

thnx again,

i thought 3dmark2003 was a videocard marker only. so it takes the whole system into consideration?

video performance is affected by the CPU...

But, yes, the 9600XT does suck.
