just bought an alienware system. with the amd 3200 and nvidia 5900 video card, 1GB memory ddr sdram 2x512MB modules,120GB Seagate Barracuda hard drive. Sounds great but I'm not sure if I shoud Have gone w the pentium 4. Also the 5950 nvidia video card came out the day after mine shipped. Is that a much better card then mine or is it too soon to tell?

you did fine and the card will be from what i have read its a better but its not worth $150 more better

thanks.... I'm still waiting, It's supposed to be rolling through Tennessee now, I've been tracking it like every 3 or 4 hours! Still not sure about vid card but you've made me rethink it thanks. I'll report back, hopefully it'll be here before next week. The only game I have to play right now is C&C Generals... haven't play it yet cause my current system sucks!! Is it any good?

Yeah dude, with that system I wouldn't worry about getting better hardware for awhile... unless your hardcore(nothing wrong with that)

ha the countless hours i spent playing AoE....on my p2 300 64mb ram bad a$$ game back then..never got into any game like that since

yeah...same here...i cant remember the las time i played age...its a great game...but i was beasting out on a Pentium 200mhz...lol
