I'm putting together an OC rig (specs to follow) and am just wondering what I can expect to get. The build will be done in a couple of days.

Mobo: Aopen AK77-333
Proc: XP 1800 (T-bred)
HS/F: CoolerMaster DP5-I11A
512MB Corsair PC2700
Vid: FX 5600 Ultra
HDD: 40GB WD
OS: XP Pro

I can up Vcore in .05V steps and FSB in 1MHz steps. Default mutiplier is 11.5 for the 1800.

What is the max increase I should be able to achieve and keep the system stable?

depends on the stepping with the cpu.... and how high can the voltages go on that mobo??

if its a tbred a, with 1.85vcore, i would expect about 2.1ghz
tbred b, 1.85 vcore... around 2.3

both with decent cooling... speeds may vary

The proc is revision B. As for the max Vcore, not sure, at work now. Aopen states that a 496 MHz OC is max for that board. There is also a disclaimer that higher speeds might be achieved but, will void the warranty, even though it's advertised as an "Overclockers" board
