So all I got is a 1920x1080 monitor, by the way is it a coincidence that that resolution is 1080P capable and it's x1080 or is that what it means to be 1080P? I thought I knew the answer, at any rate it's a Hanns-g H-201 I picked up in Goodwill for around $15 and it works lol, so anyway I see that some gaming monitors are native 1920x1080 but some games can go way higher than that, so what's the advantage of going much higher and does it affect performance on a low end PC? My guess unless it's a high end graphics gpu with at least 1 GB of memory unlike the 512mb I have, than it's really pointless, but I guess for those who have high end PCs that higher resolution makes sense.
