Hey guys I've got a big problem. I've got a separate 100 gig WD for my games and music and important shiznet. The drive is partitioned into 2 partions, 60 gig and 40 gig respectively. Now the games are all on the 60 partition and for some reason I can't get any game to run anymore????!! I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the games and still no dice. Then I've tried reformating the partition which the games are on and the reinstalling the games and still no dice,.... WTF??

Hmmmm, that is strange  Do you get any sort of an error message when you try to run whatever game you installed? Or does the game just not load? What exactly happens when you say the game won't run?

The hourglass on the side of the pointer begins to run then nothing happens , no error message, no nothing. I was praying for at least an error message so I would at least have something to search for .

Hmm, can you install and play games on your 40gig partition? If not, i'd suggest trying to re-install windows(A regular Re-Install or a whole Format Re-Install, your choice). If a Fresh Install of windows doesn't fix it, try using another Hard Drive if available. If that doesn't work, it could be something other than your hard drive.

probably a virus

usually happens

or maybe a directx problem or something. A reinstall would be advisbale to be safe though
