i have a mental block could someone here please help iv forgoten where it says what my motherboard modle and number is i dont have a motherboard manual so i cant look in there it has to be somewhere on the computer please help

Sorry if I am stating the obvious here, but I would suggest looking at the motherboard.

It should say on boot up, as well chekc direct x setup, or if you use bencmark programs they will also tell you.

i need some more help i cant open the computer i cant install software if it says it in the Direct x then i cant see it where could i possably find it

You get a screw driver...
You look for 4-6 screws which hold your case panels together and unscrew them (all of them).
Then you remove the panels and look for a BIG square shaped board which is mouted on to your case.

when i say i cant open the computer i ment that i am not aloud not that i phisically cant you [censored]y to**er Jarrett but its alright i found out from a better forum that understands computers you can get that massive row of numbers and letters on the bios screen and there is a website that will tell you where its from god i hate u Jarrett

if you didn't know how to know the model of motherboard is... it's nothing more simple than call the computer technician B)

There are some very helpful folks at motherboard.org who specialize in helping forum visitors identify their anonymous motherboards. Be sure to read the stuff on the Bios ID string that is linked on the main page.
