sounds like a good setup.

why have the dvd-rom drive and the combo cdrw/dvdrom?

Only thing it needs is a dvd-rw burner.

yep a bit strange about the two dvd roms?

maybe its a Dvd RW?

what are you using the computer for?
gaming?editing?surfing?
why im asking is the 1 Gig of ram.....you could save a stick!

the pc is for gaming but i ment the make that a CD rom not a DVD i like having two drives it more convietant "i think thats hwo you spell it hehe"

i'll edit the first post to make it clear

oh yea i wasn't sure if that ram fits in that mobo and i couldn't find a Canterwood processor on new egg for it they only have northwood is that ok?

nice... 1GB of ram is nice.... you should get two of those hard drives and throw them in RAID 0

i dont know if i need two 80 gig HDD's i cant even fill up this 40 lol but i'll think about it

Ray is right, get 2x40 instead of 1 single 80. yeah 1GiG of ram is better if price is not a concern to u.

p.s. MAX3 only comes with ICH5R, U'll need SATA drives if u wanna run raid 0. Otherwise U'll need a PATA controller card, slower and costs more, not worth it IMO.
