P4 with SiS 645 a good choice?

I'm looking for a new mobo. And, I've decided on Intel. Now, the question is which mobo to get (I gave up my silly notion of getting an SDRAM based board a while back). I'm wondering if the new SiS 645 based boards will be a good choice? DDR RAM is more inviting than RDRAM (since it's made by more than one company and cost less). Any thoughts?

I think Sis makes a nice platform but I'd still be a little hesitant to base my rig off of their board. For one Intel on Intel usually makes a much more stable and tolerant system. And for 2 the Intel platform performs better.

But there is no Intel platforme out with the DDR RAM ... Does the Via P4x266 is good ???

I wouldn't get the Via either....I'd A. Wait for Intels DDR platform or B. Get Rambus...
